MARKETING

The Marketing program is a 4 1/2 credit college-prep program that consists of three areas: the related classwork, the internship component, and DECA (Marketing Assocation). Each of these areas are equally important to the learning experience and comprise the Marketing program.

The Marketing curriculum provides the necessary framework for the future entrepreneur, retailer, event planner, sports marketer, banker, manager, or sales professional. The skill set gained as a result of mastering the curriculum will be a key ingredient to a successful career. The Marketing Internship allows for dynamic, real-world application of the principles taught in the classroom. This supervised internship provides excellent insight into the eduational requirements, cultural aspects, and skill level of specific career paths. DECA (International Association of Marketing Students) is a co-curricular organization that helps students develop skills ranging from project management, competitive excellence, entrenpreneurship, leadership, and community service. Ohio DECA has consistently acheived recognition for its' competitive accomplishments.
