ATHLETICS SIGNING CEREMONY

MENTOR HIGH SCHOOL

APRIL 29, 2008

Four Mentor High School athletes will be furthering their education and signing letters of intent with colleges and universities. All four have been valuable members of their respective teams and have represented Mentor High School on and off the athletic fields and courts. Each one of them is signing their college letters of intent today and we wish them well and know that they will continue to represent Mentor Athletics and its proud tradition.

Alex Ardo will be attending Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio

• Four year letter winner in Track and Field

• Two year letter winner in Basketball

• Currently our sprint team captain

• Regional qualifier in track and basketball

• Freshman track athlete of the year

• 3.8 GPA and National Honor Society Member

• Will major in Pre-Dental

Stephanie Rogers will be attending Lake Erie College in Painesville.

• Four year letter winner in Soccer

• Four year letter winner in Track and Field

• Two year letter winner in Basketball

• Currently holds school record in high jump.

• Several all-district, all-LEL, and all News-Herald Honors

• 3.4 GPA

Rachel Elam will be attending Edinboro University in Edinboro, Pa.

• Varsity Letter winner in Girl’s Lacrosse

• Played basketball and soccer

• Part of the Early Childhood Education Program at Mentor High

• Will be majoring in Secondary Education

Alexandra Santurri will be attending Notre Dame College in South Euclid, Ohio

• Four year letter winner in swimming

• All LEL in 200 medley relay and 400 relay

• District swimming qualifier.

• Most improved swimmer 07-08 season

• 3.6 GPA
