     Welcome to the School Resource Officer Web Page. Since 1999, the Mentor Police Department has assigned an officer to the Mentor School District. The SRO works closely with school administrators to ensure the safety and security of the school and property. Detective Haller, the current SRO, has been assigned to the school district since April, 2006.

     One of the main goals of this web page is to assist the SRO with daily duties. In particular, you can send an anonymous tip using the box below, or you can simply send an e-mail. If you wish to be contacted after leaving a tip, please include your contact information. Otherwise, the anonymous tip line will be used to aid the SRO with investigations involving criminal activity. As you can see, other links have been provided that you may find resourceful.
