Football Cards on A Roll!
The Cardinals played a great game and beat the Solon Comets 17-14 raising
their record to 3-0. The scoring started with a 3 yard TD run by Bill
Deitmen. He followed it up with a 23 yard score giving the Cards a 14-0 lead. They stretched it out to 17-0 with a Kevin Harper 44 yard field goal.
Deitman ended the evening with 102 yards on 24 carries along with 1
reception for 6 yards. Bart Tanski was 11 of 23 for 151 yards in the air.
His leading target was Jon Dzingeleski who caught 4 balls for 73 yards.
Congrats to the defense who held Solon to only 44 yards on the ground
compared to last year when Solon gained 267 rushing yards. Join us next
week when the Cardinals play St. Ignatius on Saturday night at Byers Field
in Parma. Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m. Go Cards!!!
