Katrina Aid |
Future Leaders has organized a bake sale, next to the security booth mods 1-6,
in order to raise money for the Red Cross to aid the Katrina victims.
Mrs. Stuckey will be ordering boxes of Malley's chocolate bars as an addtional fundraisng campaigne to aid the devastation that Katrina has
caused. Boxes are $36.00 and will be in 9/13. See Mrs. Stuckey to participate. Bars will also be sold in the student center. Please help in
our efforts to aid the people effected by Katrina.

Solon!!!!
The Football Cardinals played 3 good quarters of ball on Friday night. Unfortunately, they gave up 28 points in the 3rd quarter only to lose to the Solon Comets 34-17. Mentor held a half time lead at 6-3 as the game was shaping into a defensive battle. Igor Iveljic kicked field goals of 22 and 50 yards! Solon returned the 2nd half kickoff 95 yards to begin the third quarter scoring. Iveljic kicked his 3rd field goal of the evening for 34 yards with 3:31 left in the 3rd quarter. Bill Deitman completed the Mentor scoring with a 3 yard TD run. Join us next Friday as the 1-2 Cardinals take on St. Ignatius. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 on 9/16. GO CARDS!
