For three years now, Mentor has finished
3rd in the state out of 260 schools.
On Saturday at OSU we were 1st in the state in Astronomy and medaled in 14 other events: Circuits, Compute This,Genes, Disease, Bugs, Glaciers, Fermi, Forensics, Health, Rocks Write It/Do It,Tower,Scrambler and the Wright Stuff. Congratulations to the starting 15 on Saturday,our entire 40 person team and the coaching staff on a spectacular season.

May 3:
Tennis
The Boys' varsity tennis team won over Normandy last night by a score of 5-0. Winning in singles were Bobby Brown, Brian Kump, and Andy Sherman and in doubles Rob Yurchick and Mark Oliver, and Nick Salamon and Justin Levine. The boys host Mayfield today.
Lacrosse
On Saturday the girls' lacrosse team played two games against Beaumont and Wooster. The team tied Wooster 11-11 and defeated Beaumont 12-11. Rosie Garam was the leading goal scorer. Great job ladies! The team plays today at 6:15. The bus leaves at 4:45 today.
Track
Over the weekend the girls track team finished 4th at the Mentor relays. Mentors' lone victory was turned in by Hannah Cope in the 100m hurdles. A congratulations also to Amanda Batey as she set a new school record in the 2 mile.
