March 28:
Over the weekend the girls track team opened their season with a third place finish at the Brunswick Invitational. Mentor had 3 individual champions: Hallie Cope in the 100 m dash and Hannah Cope in the 100 m hurdles and high jump. Others scoring for Mentor were Alex Ardo, Kari Lavik, Francesa Lunardi, Jen Deitrick, Amanda Kleckner, Amanda Batey and Denise Shedlock.
