	Auditions are being held June 1st & 2nd, from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the High School. Applications will be available from Ms. Kunes or Mrs. Herschman beginning Monday, May 23rd.

Robert Michaels Benefit: June 11
	Robert Michaels is the winner of the Juno award (Canada's Grammy). He will be in concert at the Mentor Fine Arts Center with speical guest Jess Marie on Saturday, June 11 at 7:00PM to benefit the MHS Law Club Scholarshop Fund and honor the retirement of Mentor High teacher Ron Rose. Tickets are available at Mentor High Bookstore, Manhattan Deli, Arrowhead Music and Mama Robertas. $25 per person inlcudes dinner, concert and the reception immediately following. Girls Track Congratulations to the lady girls track team as they finished runner-up at the District meet this weekend. The following girls advanced to this week's regional meet: Hannah Cope in the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles and high jump. Hallie Cope inthe 100, long jump Kissinger,Cope,Cerepak,Cope in the 4 x 100 relay. Amada Batey in the 2 mile. Lauren Keiter in the shot put and discuss. Megan Crysler and Pembroke Strickland in the pole vault.

Baseball We are district champions by defeating Riverside 5-4 Wed. night. We lost 15 players from last year's state runner up team and have only one returning starter yet we'll be playing in the Regional Semi-Final at Captains stadium on Friday, May 27. >>more Fast Pitch In the distric final on Friday, the varsity softball team played in a hard fought battle. They tied the game in the bottom of the seventh, only to fall 5-2 in extra innings to Riverside. Come congratulate the team on a good season and cheer them on as they play Warrensville Heights today at 4:30 for a share of the LEL title. by: Coach Horvath
