Robert Michaels Benefit: June 11
|
|
Robert Michaels is the winner of the Juno award (Canada's Grammy). He will be in concert at the Mentor Fine Arts Center with speical guest Jess Marie
on Saturday, June 11 at 7:00PM to benefit the MHS Law Club Scholarshop Fund and honor the retirement of Mentor High teacher Ron Rose.
Tickets are available at Mentor High Bookstore, Manhattan Deli, Arrowhead Music and Mama Robertas. $25 per person inlcudes dinner, concert and the reception immediately following.

Congratulations to the lady girls track team as they finished runner-up at the District meet this weekend. The following girls advanced to this week's regional meet:

We are district champions by defeating Riverside 5-4 Wed. night. We lost 15 players from last year's state runner up team and have only one returning starter yet we'll be playing in the Regional Semi-Final at Captains stadium on Friday, May 27. >>more
Fast Pitch
In the distric final on Friday, the varsity softball team played in a hard fought battle. They tied the game
in the bottom of the seventh, only to fall 5-2 in extra innings to Riverside. Come congratulate the team on a good season
and cheer them on as
they play Warrensville Heights today at 4:30 for a share of the LEL title.
