Ecology Club Canoeing Trip: May 28
Ecology Club is hosting a canoeing trip for all students May 28th. Come to the meeting on May 12th after school in C-25 or talk to Mr. Mclaughlin for more information.
Prom: May 20
Prom is on May 20 8pm-12pm at LaMalfa. Pictures are 5pm-11pm. Students need to turn in a Pre-arranged Absence Form by May 18 to qualify for an early dismissal. These froms are available in the Unit Office or attendance office and need to be signed by your parent and your principal.
Robert Michaels Benefit: June 11




Robert Michaels is the winner of the Juno award (Canada's Grammy). He will be in concert at the Mentor Fine Arts Center with speical guest Jess Marie on Saturday, June 11 at 7:00PM to benefit the MHS Law Club Scholarshop Fund and honor the retirement of Mentor High teacher Ron Rose.

Tickets are available at Mentor High Bookstore, Manhattan Deli, Arrowhead Music and Mama Robertas. $25 per person inlcudes dinner, concert and the reception immediately following.

Girls Track
Congratulations to the Lady Cardinals track team as they won the LEL conference Thursday night to finish this season undefeated in the league. Winning events were:
Hannah Cope in 1100 and 300 hurdles
Hallie Cope in the 100 dash
Erin Kissinger in the long jump
Megan Crysler in the pole vault
Kissinger,Cope,Cerepak,Cope in the 4 x 100 relay
Others earning all LEL were:
Pembroke,Strickland,Hallie Cope and Amanda Batey

Baseball The cards outlasted Shaker last night 3-2 in 10 innings. Darrick Frey's single in the 10th scored Tom Bayer with the winning run. Today in a rematch of last year's District Championship we face Riverside at Euclid at 5:00 PM!

Fast Pitch
The cards turned the tables on Shaker. They lost on Wed then won on Thursday by an identical 5-4 score. Districts will be at North next Thursday.
