Ecology Club Canoeing Trip: May 28
Ecology Club is hosting a canoeing trip for all students May 28th. Come to the meeting on May 12th after school in C-25 or talk to Mr. Mclaughlin for more information.
NHS Talent Show:May 13.... You be the Judge!
Judges will pick the top 3 performers. Then the audience picks who is first,second third. Prizes are at stake.Come support your friends on May 13 at 7:00 PM in Fine Arts. $3.00 advance tickets will be available in the cafeteria starting on Monday. They are $5.00 at the door.
Prom: May 20
Prom is on May 20 8pm-12pm at LaMalfa. Pictures are 5pm-11pm. Students need to turn in a Pre-arranged Absence Form by May 18 to qualify for an early dismissal. These froms are available in the Unit Office or attendance office and need to be signed by your parent and your principal.
Robert Michaels Benefit: June 11




Robert Michaels is the winner of the Juno award(Canada's Grammy). He will be in concert at the Mentor Fine Arts Centerwith speical guest Jess Marie on Sat. June 11 at 7:00PM to benefit the MHS Law Club Scholarshop Fund and honor the retirement of Mentor High teacher Ron Rose.

Tickets are available at Mentor High Bookstore, Manhattan Deli,Arrowhead Music and Mama Robertas. $25 per person inlcudes dinner, concert and the reception immediately following.

Mentor Cardinals will be participating in the 1st Annual News Herald Captains Charities Classic on May 13. Six local high schools will compete in 3 games at Estlake Ballpark. The proceeds from tickets sold will be pooled and split between the Captains' Charities and the six schools. Featured games will include:
Mentor vs Euclid 3:30 PM
NDCL vs St Ignatius 6 PM
Willoughby South vs Eastlake North 8:30 PM
Fast Pitch
The cards turned the tables on Shaker. They lost on Wed then won on Thursday by an identical 5-4 score. Districts will be at North next Thursday.
