Tsunami Relief
The tsunami that hit Asia on Dec. 26, 2004 left many people homeless, without clothes, food, or medicine. Many schools and organizations across the nation are rising up to the challenge and collecting donations for those in need. Now it is Mentor1s turn to take part and help make a difference. Throughout the school there will be many fundraisers, bake sales and events, run by National Honor Society and Future Leaders, to help raise money. While this is taking place, NHS and Future Leaders are asking that you, as parents, donate as well.

Science Olympiad

The Science Olympiad Team (pictured above) earned another first place trophy at the Clearview Invitational. They received the other first place on Jan. 8 when Mentor defeated perennial state champs Solon and Centerville. Congratulations to the team as this is the first in school history. While it is early in the season, there is hope that this could be the best team Mentor has ever fielded. The Mentor Invitational was held last Saturday. Both Mentor teams did extremely well. This Sat is the Solon Invitational which will be followed by our first trip to Prospect, Illinois..
