Volleyball
Girls Volleyball team is currently undefeated at 10-0, ranked 13th in the state by the Plain Dealer. Come out and watch these amazing ladies on their next few home games this Thursday, September 27, and their big NEO Volleyball tournament this whole weekend.
Girls Soccer
Check out the new girls soccer photo galleries! Pictures from the Lady Cards last few games against Strongsville, Aurora, Brush, and Walsh have now been posted. The girls are having a fantastic season of 8-2-1, so don't forget to come out and support your lady cards! Next games are away September 29 vs. Bay Village at 1, and October 4 vs Chagrin Falls at 7. GO CARDS!!
Boys Soccer
Enjoy rare home games as the boys play a League Championship Game against Shaker Wed at 7 P.M. and take on Ignatius Sat at 7 P.M.
Cardinal Football Hits a Speed Bump
The Football Cardinals were tripped up by the Euclid Panthers 35-34. In the see-saw battle, Mentor got off to a good start with a 14-0 lead. The teams battled back and forth with Mentor holding a 1 or 2 score lead the entire game. But, Euclid scored the final 15 points over the last 7:00 in the game giving them the victory. The Cardinal record is now 4-2 heading into next weekends game at Shaker Heights. Mentor had 450 yards of offense on the evening compared to Euclid at 415 yards. Bart Tanski threw for 328 yards including 3 TD's. Tom Worden carried the ball 15 times for 99 yards and 2 rushing TD's. The receiving crew was led by Steve Orkis who had 9 catches for 119 yards. Tyler Schutz caught 2 TD's from Tanski while Mike Popelas caught the third TD toss. Join us next SATURDAY when the Cardinals play a day game at Shaker Heights. Let all show up to help the Cards bounce back. GO CARDS!
