There will be a fund raiser for the Battered Women's Shelter that starts on
Monday Jan.9. There will also be multiple other fund raisers that wull begin later this month.
Mentor earned the 3rd place trophy at the Northmont Invitational this past
weekend. 45 teams from 4 states participated in this regional. Next weekend the team goes to Athens PA to compete against some of the top Nationals teams from NY and PA.

The Boys Varsity Basketball team defeated Elyria last night by a score of 85-67. The leading scorer was Justin Fritts with 26, followed by Danny Wallack (22) and Brandon Fritts (14). GO CARDS!!

The JV Boys team beat Elyria last night by a score of 76-54. The leading scorer was Kade McClure with 18, followed by Kent Berger (16), Kyle Hagey (11), Alex Skulina (10).

The Red team lost to Elyria last night by a score of 41-57. The leading scorers for Mentor were Tyler Thompson with 13 & Marc Edwards with 10.

Congratulations to the Freshmen Gray Team for winning their last 2 games against Shaker (Jan 3) and Stow today (Jan 7) by the same score of 46-41!
Leading scorers for the Shaker game were Josip Bobas (20), Paul Sateika (11) and Drew Noble (4).
Leading scorers for the Stow game were Josip Bobas (13) and Paul Sateika (14). Eddie Daugherty added 7 and Seth Fluhart added 6. Way to go Cards!!
The next game will be Friday against Garfield Heights at 4:30 pm, followed by JV & Varsity!

The JV team will play at 6 pm Friday night, HOME, against Garfield Heights. This is part of a triple header with the Freshmen Gray playing at 4:30 and Varsity tip off at 7. GO
