We'll moderate your Caucus!
The Fall 2006 Model UN conference will be held in October at Case Western Reserve University. Model UN is an organization that seeks to promote students' awareness and understanding of international affairs. Students act as delegates from the nations belonging to the real United Nations and try to accurately express and pursue the interests of their country. Students draft resolutions that prescribe for actions that the model UN would take if the resolution were to be passed. Just as in he real UN, student delegates must follow the rules of parliamentary procedure to introduce, revise, and vote on resolutions.
